  • For the price, this is a great value and works well. Shooting video with the Tarot offers much more stable shots, than a directly mounted camera.
3 out of 5 stars due to the horrible way the Tarot 2D mounts the Go-pro. It requires an allen wrench every time you add/remove the camera. The USB port & battery cannot be accessed while mounted, so wrenching on two tiny screws (about 10 turns each) is a tedious requirement for every flight. Also, the aluminum capture ring (violet piece in the photo) was unbelievably tight on the Go-pro Hero4. I almost left it on for fear of damaging the camera. I finally dremmelled the inside diameter of the capture ring, so it could be removed without a good deal of force of the barrel of the Go-pro lens.
I purchased a velcro "Layer Lens" to solve two Tarot issues - this additional device will mount & un-mount the camera easily and protect the camera lens.
On more note, the circuit board is completely exposed and un-coated. It just seems strange to have electronics exposed to the elements.
