I've been trying to decide between the various Easystar-like planes for my next FPV and (hopefully) Arduplane platform. Could this be the best of both worlds? Between the Easystar clones of various sizes, the Skywalker types and all the other good options out there, how does one decide?
Thoughts on this plane? Thoughts on this dilemma?

I just ordered one and I will be putting my APM 2.5 in it.
I think it will be a great addition to my hanger.
According to the original posting on their site, ARF means 95% complete, all electronics installed, just add TX/RX and battery and go. Their RTF version includes all of that. They said they will have the full line of parts available, but it's not on their website yet. This brings up another issue for me. According to some people on RCG Banana Hobby does all of their demo videos with really good components but ships them with sub-par ones. That seems unethical to me, but considering that the X8 is ~$200 for just the foam, $139 for a nearly complete plane seems reasonable. Then again, if it crashes or burns (or both) because of crappy electronics it's probably not worth the postage. I won't be the first to buy this, but I might after a few average or better reviews.

I sent them an email with a bunch of questions and was contacted (through a post on RCG) asking what I would like to know. I asked:
There are a lot of us interested in this plane (just check the other forums). We would like to see more pictures, specifically the cockpit and space inside the fuselage for gear, also something in the picture to reference and give a sense of scale, and ideally some video.
Does the main wing come apart (2 1.2m wings)?
How are the wings secured to the fuselage?
How many and what type of spars support the wings?
Is there spar supporting the length of the plane (wings to tail)?
What size prop comes with the kit?
What size prop can the airframe accommodate?
Is that a wheel beneath the fuselage and the tail?
It appears on the new version of your site that this plane is sold out, but on the other site it's available. What is it's stock status?
What else should I ask about?
It looks very nice, but the link appears to be down, and searches on the website do not show it.
The long wings on my Radian Pro went to mush after 70 flights pulling to many "G"s that is the problem with a long foam wing after flexing to many times . If it is a 2 piece wing I hope they have a decent wing attachment system in it. Hey then again if it is not priced ridiculous? and for out of the box it is a "Nice Plane " and is descent size for putting stuff in and is the size drones will "Evolve to "in the future . (More range more payload! there will still be smaller ones )
Looks great. I just bought a 2m FPV Raptor, but this looks better. I have a normal sized skysurfer (bixler) and it flies great.
I wonder how stiff the wings are in this one? Even the smaller one requires work to ensure the carbon wing rod is strong enough and more rods are needed in the fuselage to prevent flexing. Hopefully this one has 2 wing rods or something else for stiffness.
The FPV raptor has extremely stiff wings, using a square section aluminium tube as well as carbon and wooden rods throughout the plane. Doesn't fly as nice as a bixler, though!
I know it says the wings are removable. But I want to know if they are one-piece, or two-piece. A 2.4m wing is fairly large. I've got a plane with a 2m wing which barely fits in a small car.
