My flying club is on the Campus at Evergreen where the real Spruce Goose is, I see it every time I go to fly. It does indeed inspire. It's an awesome plane to see up close and personal.

Too bad they were 10 years too early to get a $15 billion buyout offer from Google.
Chris,
My father was a draftsman during the construction of the Spruce Goose in Culver City, CA and his best friend was one of the chief engineers, Warren Reed.
I have inherited quiet a bit of memorabilia from my father from that period time of the Hughes Aircraft Co.
