Our head of manufacturing in Tijuana, Guillermo Romero, and his team: Elena Naranjo, Manuel Arriaga, Orlando Avendaño Gastelum, and Shiela Diaz have recently completed the introductory session of ISO9001:2008 certification. Quality management is an ongoing effort and something 3D Robotics strives for. We are proud of our products and want to insure they perform as promised -- quality manufacturing is a key ingredient to this goal.

Never had any problems with my orders. Keep up the good work!
So far I had not had a bad experience with 3DR. The support rep was extremely nice in getting a special order through. My parts always come fast (unless I use FedEx ground as I live on the east coast). I always read bad things about 3DR, but it (for me) has been one of the best around. I had some bad experiences with other bigger companies, where you expect decent treatment.
The shipping comments do not fall on deaf ears. We realize that there is much room for improvement, and we are working daily to improve on it. Hang in there, and keep letting us know when there is an issue.
Also you can find my analysis of of ISO-9000 here ;-)

I 100% agree with the comment on shipping.... the modern expectation is that orders in before some cutoff time ship the same day. Ordered something at 11:30 am on the 29th and is shipped on then 2nd why does it take 4 days for a simple order with everything in stock to ship?
I hope they start applying the same standards on shipping services. I always try to find the parts I need from other vendors, as 3DR is soooooo slow to ship things (things that are in stock, supposedly)
I am in Los Angeles, ~2 hours from San Diego, and just can't believe that I bought something in JDrones in Thailand (rfd900 radios) and a GPS from 3DR (Lea-6) on the same day... and the radio from JDrones arrived, and I haven't heard if 3DR shipped yet the GPS! The difference in shipping charges between both?? 5 dollars more expensive from Thailand. Incredible
