  • Thanks Fab !

  • Awesome

  • Hi Fab, What radio TX u r using ? pls elaborate flight phases

I'm using the DS-16 from JETImodel. Here some pictures (flight phases, function curves, logical switches):

And yes the transmitter can make screenshots :-).

  • a lower channel controller?

Very interesting question. You can use an arduino and program a copter switch.

and it repeat the signal to your main exploring/fpv copter so if it went behind an object the signal stays intact.

Mega FPV flying with repeater copter... :-).

We need to revisit swarming and bake it into the GCSs a bit better.

    ArduSwarm ;-).

Love this! We need to revisit swarming and bake it into the GCSs a bit better. Right now it's just in Mission Planner and is a bit of a hack. But I think as we move to long-range BT and WiFi control, it will be easier to do point-to-multipoint control in APM Planner, which is built on a multi-UAV architecture.

  • I saw this similar on another thread, made me think that you could send up a signal repeater on the first copter, to hover with a nice view over a complex terrain (hills, trees) and it repeat the signal to your main exploring/fpv copter so if it went behind an object the signal stays intact.

  • Since auto mode kind of locks out the controller input, isn't there a way to do this with just modes? i.e.: a lower channel controller?

  • No it's the DS-16 from JETImodel. A very nice controller...

  • What controller is that? Its not the fabled Horus is it?
