  • Trappy, what are your ideas for the future videos? When do you plan to surprise us again? :)

I  had a wicked ride in a towed Glider with a great pilot we took off in unstable weather and landed with massive down winds. The glider was shaken but not stirred as we got close to clouds, He saved my life and he didn't want to do it again. PS My last glider ride too,
In 10th grade I built a 16' Rogallo Wing from bamboo and 5 mil plastic for a science fair. It gave rides to fellow students all day, until plastic film ripped after too weight two kids got on at the same time...  6 kids towed it by running into slight breeze, I used my old red Radio Flyer wagon to transport it 2 miles to school with help of my best friend. Lots of kids got the Aviation bug that day. Latter in life I planned the all testing for B2 fleet.
  • Mark Colwell, lucky you, we had the worlds biggest one (according to scale) there. 1:1.3 ... you could sit in it no problem :)

Great flight, @ 4:32. Many ranchers may want a UAV to monitor heard, reproduction and prize winning Bulls...

I have discussed this with some Ranches in CO.

Thanks Trappy, Really want to see HUGE gliders, I am a Glider addict...

  • This is fantastic.

/me glances at broken EasyStar... sigh. :'(

  • Rafal, didnt see the wires but saw te poles. Must admit that ws a little too close for comfort.

Samantha, you should see my other ones :) this was a relaxing flight :D

Darro, check our website team-blacksheep.com; the gopro is taped to the wing as passive recorder, we do not use it as FPV camera
  • looks great.  Can you share the details of your FPV setup?  Do you use the goPro as FPV somehow?
  • Awesome video! Makes me flinch when you fly through the trees though!
  • As usual, great flying Trappy! Did you manage to see the wire at the start on the flight cam? That was nice and close..

argh... now i have to read your fpv thread again on rcg and get the kinks out of my setup [interference], so i can make vids a fraction as good as yours!

  • not much to be honest. a little more sophisticated PSU, an OSD and UHF system, the basics are still the same (tried and tested, I guess). This system or setup (or whatever you want to call it) has outlived so many different kinds of failures, it's hard to change something without remembering what can go wrong if I do :)
