  • Ersin,
    Here is my real email: kentek3141@hotmail.com
    I'm looking for someone to bounce ideas off of while in construction mode and email works best for me.
    You will find very soon that there are some fairly troubling parts of this build and instructions-directions are lacking to say the least.
    I will post all issues that I come across so we can all benefit.
    PapaJeff has been a great help. He is probably the busiest guy on the planet so I don't want to bother him too much especially on little things that I should know but don't.

    the states (for now!)
  • To everyone with an MQ9 please go to RCU and search the build logs. There are a few but more importantly PapaJeff has built quite a few UAV RC planes and so has setup hints and highly detailed guide for building.

    Joel,
    Looks like you can change the rate in APM_Config.h:
    180: #define SERIAL2_BAUD 115200
    181: #define SERIAL3_BAUD 115200
    Of course, I don't know how this will effect the situation in real life, but it is able to change. In ArduCopter I have verified that the telem port is not tied to using 115k by using generic wireless modules successfully at 56k.
  • Im at the my hometown and found my tools. i will start production when i get back to my home. :)
  • I just got mine MQ-9 and I don't have any idea what that heck to do. Thats what I get for making bets. I hope i get some pointers from you guys.

    Let the pain begin!
  • @keen_wood;
    exactly! we gonna use my friend's Volkswagen T2 :) hehe
  • Like taxi it from West Coast to East Coast?
  • @Ritchie;
    Before air i will try long range ground test, i dont wanna crush it :)
    thanks for warning ;)
  • I asked about 2.4GHz and was told it wouldn't work and my stuff is meant to be tolerant of other 2.4GHz signals. 900MHz doesn't have the spread spectrum and hopping technology that 2.4GHz afaik so problems should be worse. So would be interested to see it working in the air (workbench working is not the same).
  • @Mathias;
    Ritchie worrying about same frequencies. They are both working on 900mhz. I will ask to an electronic communucation enginer when i get back my own town.
