Building Possibly My Last Multicopter
I left the hobby in 2022 after the crash of my Tarot Ironman due to a propeller blade separation resulting in complete destruction of the aircraft. Since then I have been flying an old DJI MAvic Pro that I bought used from a photographer who wanted to upgrade. Anyway, recently l've thought about wanting to build one more multicopter. I enjoyed the challenges of building one plus the satisfaction of flying something I built. So I decided to once again embark on a build project. My needs…

Hi all
tks for joing me in this group
Hi all, I am starting a project where I want to add two pusher propellers to an X octocopter configuration.
I wonder if anybody can give me his opinion on the feasibility of doing this on Arducopter.
Just throwing this into the mix here and I apologize if it is not the correct forum gents, but there is little time left to take advantage of this great offering. I thought it my duty to bring to your attention this invention from a German group of engineers that may very well put to rest much of FAA worries about LOS/ FPV and Drones falling out of the sky. Check this out. I signed up for an "Early Bird" of this device called the AP Manager (by Gizmotec) that combines two FC's of your choice (their test set up uses two Pixhawk, but it can be any combo, mix or match) and even if both fail it will still control a multirotor or fixed wing craft via the onboard Rx. @Austin,
Make sure that on the MP's radio calibration screen, the green bar for the pitch moves in the opposite direction to the physical stick on your transmitter. If it moves the wrong way, fix it in the transmitter not by adjusting any arducopter parameters.

Is simple or super simple mode active?
Pixhawk elevator/pitch reverse issue. I just can not get the pixhawk to reverse at all. reverse on my aurora 9 but makes no odds. pick up quad and aileron is fine when I lean it to the right the right motors spin up to relevel it same as when I do it on the left side. but when it comes to the elevator I lean it backwards and the back motors slow down. totally fed up and utterly confused. Can someone else?
Thanks mP1. Unfortunately we are leaving early Monday morning so I can't really get it quickly enough from Sydney.
@David - do you have a web portal? I will order from you in the future.
Hi Spencer,
I have a heaps of black motor related stuff (i'm a 3DR distro). Let me know if you don't have any luck elsewhere.
Ive got a spare entire black motor if you want it, in mybox of kool stuff(tm). Pretty sure it works.
Oh ouch i thought you meant the bolt to keep the prop from flying off :) not the shaft thingo.
