If you start with scratch build go for a balsa wood gilder with an angle of incidence approx 4 degrees or else if you want to buy a plane off the shelf then go for the Bixler v1.1 or the Tek-Sumo flying wing both of them are really stable and easy to fly and they have been recommended by many people for their FPV projects....secondly it is absolutely imperative that you buy a telemetry module 433Mhz only !! this is because 900Mhz is used by cellphone operators in India...Telemetry is very important when it comes locating your drone after inadvertent fly-aways which are not very rare by the way, also telemetry is very important when maintaining logs on the ground station when the drone is in flight...keep in mind that we are using just an 8 bit MCU at 20mhz and there are no brute force foolproof measures which you can turn to in order to salvage your plane if it enters a certain auto mode due to a combination of certain conditions...APM is a project in development so I would like you to start cheap then build eventually as you get success more often....putting a camera on your first flight out is an absolute no-no..flying FPV is like learning to fly RC all over again trust me I have learnt this the hard way,,,you will end up saving a lot of money and effort....once you get the plane flying with the APM I will highly recommend following a list of checks before tossing your drone in the air...once you get the cart flying you will need to get it trimmed and tuned in stabilize mode..after this go for an airspeed sensor and simultaneously go for altitude hold tests...only when you get the whole thing flying to the best according to your expectations in these two modes only then can I advise you to move to GPS based auto modes...I will be posting more on this forum  so keep me posted so that I can help you it in the future...

    @ Ananya,

Ya sure. All you have to do is start reading the Wiki first few times. You probably won't require much of help after that. Remember this is Diy forum. So you are going to build it your self.  Cheers and Good luck.
