9 ch controlers. can someone help me

I'm looking at purchasing a cheap Chinese remote

Turnigy 9x  or 9xr or 9 pro or skyfly..

Can anyone tell me what the differences are.. 

if you were to do it again, would go with the most $$ Pro ver?

and If I have to buy tx rx separately what one?

    Love my FrSky Taranas. Inexpensive, full featured, well supported, and open source software. $200 for transmitter & receiver with telemetry built-in, and a nice case to carry it in. The last full featured system I bought before it (in 1991 or 1992) was over $1000!
