Ok. I followed the directions and found the following
1)Unplugging the USB radio causes a blue screen/Mem dump in Windows 7
2) Drivers do not install.
In XP Drivers install, but the config software is locking up.
Any body else played with these?

Hi,
I'm using the RF-ANET VER1.01 and the drivers from Silicon Labs on my XPSP3 box without issue. Can you see the USB bridge in Device Manager?

K, so what's the config s/w you refer to? The only one I know of is RF-ANET. LMK.
Permalink Reply by Julie Macfarlane on December 30, 2010 at 8:51pm Thats the code that locks up. APC220.exe // RF-ANET.
Shows something found in port 3, but all I get is an hour glass.

Permalink Reply by Julie Macfarlane on December 31, 2010 at 10:09am Its the bridge. I just unplugged it (with out the APC220) and the WIN7 bluescreened.
I'll try the XP net book again later.
I am off to buy a radio. The one ordered3 weeks ago still has not arrived.

I was thinking of writing a loop back program to see if it actually runs.
Send a letter "A", and then check to see if it arrives in the input buffer.
Permalink Reply by Julie Macfarlane on January 2, 2011 at 9:43am Ok. I wrote a simple loop back program and can send chars from one text box to another.
The bridge is functioning in Win 7. That leaves the APC transiever.
Ok. Dont unplug it from the USB port. Blue screen awaits
