I am hoping someone can shed some light on when or if the apm would increase throttle without an airspeed sensor? For instance say during a flight in auto it starts heading to the next waypoint and the next waypoint is a higher altitude than it's current altitude. It would apply up elevator but obviously the aircraft would start to slow down perhaps to the point of stall if no additional throttle is applied. Yet with no airspeed sensor I guess I don't understand if it would apply more throttle or not??? I'm using an older version of flight planner 1.2.53 as it has work beautiful so I haven't bothered updating. I did set min max and cruise speeds. cruise is %45 max is %75. When would it ever apply that %75?? Thanks

Hi Richard,
Altitude control is primarily with throttle, although pitch plays a role too. So if the next WP is higher than the APM will apply more throttle in order to climb.
The best way to prevent a stall in AUTO without an airspeed sensor is:
Most R/C models have ample power, and it is extremely rare for APM to stall in AUTO, but if you think your model may be prone to stalling then the above guide should help.
