Hi,

There seems to be a problem with my Oilpan/shield. When i connect it up to the configurator, and look at the artifivial horizon, the roll rate seems very slow ato respond. When i roll my copter and put back to level, the artificial horizon slowly turns even though its already leveled. Compared to the pitch and yaw which responds instantaneously.

Is it a propblem with the roll gyro or my connectors are loose? Have been trying to figure out the problem for close to a month already. When i did try to fly the roll is very sensitive and always trying to flip. I only manage to get it up in the air once or twice and after that it wont anymore.

Any help would be great. Im uploading the video i took of the  configurator, i'll attacj once its done.

Thanks

Khairul

did you reset the eeprom and otherwise run through all the CLI setups, including accel offsets?

BTW roll and pitch are the same chip. It's impossible for one to work and the other not.

I did, several times. Now i found out something else, if i till the nose down in acro mode and i roll the copter left and right, the roll responds much faster in the AH. Very strange.
is it possible that theres a bad solder somewhere? Really cracking my head to figure out the problem. Cant do anything much as i have to set ridiculous values for the roll P in acro mode before i can feel any resistance. I read abt the 200k resistor issue on the magnetometer, could that be affecting the oilpan?

no, it's just the magneto
