Does the Cessna 206T airframe require any PID tuning for APM2?

I have a 206T, but I think most Cessna or trainers like it would have similar airframes.  Did APM/APM2 work for you out of the box?

Yes you can use default pids out of the box making sure it is a very very calm day.... no wind..

But on a windy day....outch!.... your airframe might be blowned away...

PIDs tuning is the art of setting them in order to reduce disturbing winds.

I don't see any pid files for the Cessena 206T on the wiki.

Wish you could provide one ;)

That's not the same as a standard RC trainer, there will be some subtle differences. I am sure you will need to tune a little.

Thank you both. Will post the results (once I get there).
