Droidplanner on Kindle Fire HD?

Does anyone know if Droidplanner can be installed on the Amazon Kindle Fire HD?  I understand Amazon has their own "App Store"--  It would be good to hear if anyone has DroidPlanner 2 on Kindle--perhaps with or without rooting?

  • No one knows? Or perhaps the Ground Stations category is not the right one for this question?

Most people use a Nexus 7 or any other tablet or phone that support OTG

      • I curretly have the original Nexus 7 with Droidplanner, but the price of the Amazon Fire HD is very attractive. However, i know that Amazon has its own App store, and was wondering if Arthus Benneman has made it available on the Amazon app store. But if not, perhaps someone has installed it from source on a rooted Fire.

One issue i find is that the Nexus does not really have very good brightness in direct sunlight ( though i've sewn my own hood that works ok) so I would like to investigate alternatives.

Maybe i should ask the developer...
