My team is building a VTOL drone for our mechanical engineering senior design project, and are currently a bit overwhelmed by component selection. We're planning to purchase pre-made motors, controllers, servos, ect, but we have a few questions
What brands do you recommend for components?
What are the best places to buy said components?
Are there compatibility issues between brands we should be aware of?
Where can we find datasheets for components like motors and propellers? We're looking for things like torque/efficiency/rpm curves for motors, and torque and thrust coefficients for props.
