Dual GPS question

I am thinking of adding a second GPS unit to my Pixhawk powered hexacopter.

  • Thanks for the advice.  I've got it working.

  • It is known that when it switches between GPS units it causes twitching. It will default to the GPS with more satellites and switch when one has 2 or more.
  • Once the second GPS is connected you just have to change the 2 params: GPS_AUTO_SWITCH and GPS_TYPE2.Its a good idea to have 2 GPS units. If one fails the other will take over.
