Dual GPS question

I am thinking of adding a second GPS unit to my Pixhawk powered hexacopter.

Do I need to run through the hardware configuration again, or just modify the parameters as described here?  http://copter.ardupilot.com/wiki/common-optional-hardware/common-positioning-landing-page/common-installing-3dr-ublox-gps-compass-module/#connecting_to_pixhawk

    It is known that when it switches between GPS units it causes twitching. It will default to the GPS with more satellites and switch when one has 2 or more.

    Once the second GPS is connected you just have to change the 2 params: GPS_AUTO_SWITCH and GPS_TYPE2.Its a good idea to have 2 GPS units. If one fails the other will take over.
