I'm trying to install the minimosd on my APM 2.6, and whenever I plug the osd into my computer using an FTDI chip and I try to do anything with the board, I get an error saying that it could not open the com port. I have tried installing different drivers and that did not help. I have tried this on both a mac with the minimosd config software ported over, and I've tried this on a mac that was running windows.
Is the issue related to the mac or is it something else I'm doing wrong? If anyone could help me, I would greatly appreciate it.
