ESC arming problem with different ACM versions

I've been having ESC arming problems with a couple of ACM versions.

The last two versions I flew, v37 and 42, there was no problem, but with some other versions including the recent v43 not all ESC's arm immediatly. They keep beeping for a while (30-45sec) and then finally arm. Not all ESC's do this. Once they are all armed I have no problems flying.

I think this has something to do with minimum throttle but why don't I have the same problem with for example v42???

What could I change in the code so all ESC arm at once??

They are all calibrated, so thats not the problem.

  • Confirmed I went back to a older revision(.40) and my ESC's arm properly, using the latest firmware does not arm my ESC's

  • Ok, I think I found the solution. :-)

When I do an initial calibration in CLI get arround 950 pwm values.

If I do a calibration through MP I get around 1014 and then the ESC keep beeping when powered up.

I lowered the pwm value to 1000 in MP and behold, the ESC's start like they should.

  • damn, does it again with v48

  • Problem is gone againwith v 44 and 45.

    Strange.

I've seen this once in a while. Mostly it's a low battery, but it goes away on it's own. Nothing in the code has changed regarding PWM.

  • With ESC arming I mean when you connect the battery.
