Has anyone seen an application that would scan a dataflash log file, extract the GPS Lat,Lon and Alt data and create an absolute waypoints file for input into Mission Planner?

Consider the case where I fly a mission using FPV or terrain-based altitude using a LIDAR.  I'd like to be able to repeat that mission starting at a different home position than where I originally flew from.

If a waypoints file could be generated from the dataflash log(s) then I could start from anyplace to fly that same mission.

Obviously, I'd have to add some waypoints to safely get to the first waypoint in the mission.

I'm already in process of creating a Windows based application to do this but I'm wondering if anyone besides myself has any need for this.
