Galaxy pro tab 8.4 with iris+

Has anyone used the galaxy tab pro 8.4 with the iris+ ? Mine isn't 4g or LTE only wifi. But when I carried down on the farm the app appeared to be working and gps was following. Thanks

    So follow me doesn't work like that without wifi or cell service? But if download the graphics while I have wifi and then go to the field I can use the mission planner?

      Paul just seen where you said follow me will work without internet . It just needs gps.

      That's great . So if I know the area I'm going to be at ,try to preload before I go and gps will work. Great. How about follow me. Think it will? I'm going to try this just wondering if it will. It's been raining all week here.

      What I'm saying is without internet my gps on the tablet worked. I drove around and the little blue dot followed me. :-)

        that's what i mean, internet is only for the maps

      follow me needs gps, irrelevant if you are connected to the internet or not. You can always use mission planner but if you don't have internet you have to prefetch the maps if you want to see them, but mission planner should work nevertheless

    I use an ASUS tablet with only WiFi and as long as you download the maps ahead of time you should be good to go.

    The only issue I have is that the Follow Me function does not turn off and messes with the gimbal.

      Does the follow me work? So the gps is actually working but you need to make sure it downloads the graphics before you leave wifi?
