I'm pretty new here, so first of all, thanks for accepting me in this community!

What I would like to know first of all is if there is any tutorial for beginners about drones (or a fixed topic in this forum). Not only about piloting, but also how to build yourself one, or which one to choose depending on your goals, and all this specifications from radio connections to gimbals. I'm very interested in learning about it , but it seems too much information and widely disperse. So, for a beginner, where could I get the basic information?
Just to make clear about myself.
Despite of liking these UAVs for a while, only now I could consider to afford one. I got even more motivated after the great aero videos that it can be recorded. In fact I'm more a photography person, but got very into this drone thing because of the image it can record, and I really would like to do it, not professionally, but not with a simple toy drone+camera.
I would like to evaluate the possibility of building an affordable drone myself, but I need to know what to learn, what to get, etc...
