IRIS+ moves very fast between way points.

Hey,

Yesterday I noticed my IRIS+ flies very fast between way points. I had changed my WPNAV params but reset them back to default when loading the IRIS+ w/ gimbal params. Would anyone be able to help me or provide information on why this is happening and or how to slow it down?

Here are my WPNAV params at this present moment; e5b097f11430d1095b118926e1b2ad29.png?width=600

Also, I tested a dronie yesterday and noticed some weird behavior when doing it. Whilst the drone was coming down it was turning from side to side, and moved from side to side a few times. What could be the cause of this?

Any help would be appreciated!

Thanks, Scott.

  • My first mission was the same way. My logs show I was hitting close to 40mph or about 1800 cm/s. Yet my default WPNAV-speed was set at 1000 cm/s. It was going so fast when it hit some of the waypoints it started to loop back around and then move forward again. It was actually quite startling when it took off like that. I was expecting to see the gentle flight like in the 3DR training video around the lake.  I flipped into auto and it took off like a bat out of hell. I set to 750cm/s or about 17mph to see it that would help but have not tried it yet.
