Jdrones Hexacopter flips while takeoff

Hi! First post to this discussion board.

I have been wondering a weird problem with Jdrones Hexacopter. It flips immediatelly while I try to take off, increasing throttle causes copter to bank forward. Copter has APM1 board, currently it has firmware 2.5.5 and earlier versions of 2.5.x and 2.4.x has been also used. Most confusing is, that the problem appears after few normal flights. After all configurations and adjustments made, I flew few times and then change battery, and now the copter doesn't work at all. Nothing else was changed after flights which gone normal, only battery. Every adjustment was working correctly at earlier point.

And what have I tried;

-Soldered compass straight to board, not using wire anymore to connect it

-Reset all the configurations and download the firmware again

-Checked the motors, ESCs, propellers are properly tightened

-When watching Mission Planner, radio shows correct values

-Again I was able to flight few times, and then problem appeared again.

I really need some advice now, no more I don't have any idea what is going on. It is so confusing, that I don't change nothing than battery but now copter just banks forward.

  • just a long shot ..

    i generally turn my hexa upside down to attach the battery, and for some of my first flights actually connected it while still upside down.  this caused it to be completely unable to take off, would try to flip one way or another.  resetting with the board "upright" solved the problem and though i still attach the battery upside down, i never power up the board unless its something close to level.
