Mission planner is an amazing bit of software and this is intended as constructive criticism only.
If I add a LOITER_TURN to a mission leaving long + lat at zero the quad behaves as described - staying at the previous waypoint coords BUT MP puts in a waypoint at the Equator (0,0).
Apart from being rather alarming in terms of battery life for the round trip it completely spoils the MP waypoint display.
Would it be possible to have MP do what the quad does and fill in the previous WP coords automatically ?
Another minor (but perhaps slightly dangerous) glitch - if you've forgotten to flip the auto switch before arming the quad, put on some throttle for a take off, realise what's wrong and then return throttle to zero, the quad takes off as soon as the auto switch is flipped with throttle at zero.
OK once you know this happens but potentially nasty.
