I'm at the planning stage for an Arducopter, and I wanted to know how do you work out what size motor and prop you need?  Is there a calculation/calculator somewhere that you can use to work it out?
To reduce motor noise, can you put a larger motor with larger prop or does that weigh it down too much?

Basically I'd like to know what other people have done and why and how to calculate the requirements.
