Hello out there! This is my first post, one of many more to come, I'm sure.

I purchased a somewhat inexpensive drone off eBay which was recommended in another forum topic so I can learn how to fly one first and learn what I want more down the road with functionality.

My main focus now is to find more information on where I can be directed to learn how to eventually build my own. I'd like to have one some day where it records video and still photos in HD format. My hobbies are photography and video production and I think a drone can really give me some enjoyment and creativity that can add to my passions.

My father use to fly RC planes and as a little kid I remember him spending all winter building them and taking the out in the spring to fly. I'm not into the planes much but a drone seems like it would be pretty fun.

As far as a budget on building one, who knows right now. It depends on how much joy I get from flying the one I'm going to purchase and what I plan to do with one some day. At the moment, I'm just looking for the most reliable resources on where to go to learn more as a hobbyist.
