Nitro/electric

I've just purchased a boomerang 60 - I intended to convert to elec but I have a beautiful 61 ASP engine.  I'm worried about the vibration levels produced, yet I see there are a few nitro lanes in the Queensland trials. Have other members had the same thoughts and doubts as I have?  Just how much vibration should the apm 2.5 be shielded from ?  I appears that the real problem lies with the accelerometers as there are a number of nitro plane flown at my club with stabilisation but with just gyros and without any problems. It appears that helicopters seem generate more vibration than fixed wing yet use sophisticated boards.
