No throttle on APM 1.4

Hey all,

Hoping you'll be able to help!

So, I've got everything working except the throttle output. The Tx/Rx Calibration in mission planner picks up the throttle input, but I can't get the motor to spin.

I've attempted multiple flight modes and powering up the APM via USB first and then switching it over to ESC without success. I'm running a Hobbyking 20 ESC BEC if that helps. Also, the Mission Planner shows as being armed.

Any thoughts on where to keep troubleshooting?

Also, everything works fine through the receiver and the ESC if I remove APM, so I know the motor is in working condition.
