Can someone tell me what regulators we have on the APM1 and how good they should be ?

looking at the 5V rail either off the telemetry port or the SPI port i have a variance of -+ 50mV
so it varies between 4.61 to 4.69 Volts

Testing with a Agilent U1232A  so it's not some cheap $10 DMM.

anyone else able to test to tell me if I have a fault.

Hi Gabriel,

Not so easy to answer your question without having the wirings you've made. The first two things you have to check are:

1. Drawing excessive currents from points which can't deliver such;

2. Overlapping current contours. This is the most common mistake in wiring.

Best regards

Nick

well It's pretty much stock because i still get floating voltage when plug just into the usb port. with the only extra thing that is powered being the 915mhz 3DRadio.

There is like 8 servos connected to the PWM output ports through..

hmm looks like it might be the 3DRadio... pulling too much current the thing stabilizes when not plugged in
