Quadcopter motor shutter/cutout unexpectedly

I'm having issues getting my quadcopter working properly. All my connections are tight. I'm using turnigy plush 18A esc's. The board I'm using is a hobby king Kk board. the motors are turnigy sk 2826's. I've programmed each of the esc's for Ni-XX. The rest of the setting I left as default. The problem I'm having is on motor spin up. The motors cut-out or over rev unexpectedly. I had one case where I had the throttle revving fine at a low rpm, quad still resting on the ground. All of a sudden quick throttle rev and the quad flipped over. I wasn't doing anything. It's almost like interference. I've looked all over the web for ideas but really haven't had much luck. Hopefully someone can help me out. Thanks!

  • You need SimonK firmware and calibrate your ESC's . Check into what SimonK does as far as cutoff and see if that description fits.
