Hi AllI'm new to this website add forum but for a while now I have been developing an idea which will (hopefully) change the way snail mail is delivered and bring postal systems around the world into the 21st Century.I'm writing about it here as one of the key elements of the system relies on the quadcopter technology that you guys are developing and the prototypes I am planning to use will be based on the ArduCopter platform. The website is at http://pigeonpost.co/ and over the next few weeks I'll be posting more detailed concepts, ideas and plans of the Pigeon Post platform. For the coders amongst you there will be dicscussions about how we can use Internet Protocol packet switching concepts with physical packages. For the Quadcopter enthusiasts we'll be working out how to pick up move items by hacking together Wii Remote tech with GPS and RFID tracking.I hope the project will take off and I'd like you to join me on the journey. The projects home is presently at www.pogeonpost.co and I'm on twitter at www.twitter.com/pigeonpostcoThanksNathan Rae

This exact idea has been growing in my mind for about a year now. But I kinda lack the buisiness skills to get it off the ground.
I'm far enough into arducopter to be able to code additions or make modifications to the code. Designed and built a hexa myself from scratch.
I work at the university of Leuven (Belgium) as systemadministrator, but I'm actually an electo-mechanical engineer who made his hobby (computers) his profession. Got engineering students to make a quadcopter as a "Projects & Design" project.
Subscribed to your newletter and eager to learn more.
