I am having some issues with the mission planner software. I am trying to calibrate my radio, but it is not registering. I am using a DX8 radio and a AR6200 receiver. I am powering the receiver via a power supply and the board via USB. Tx/Rx are properly bound and I can control servos using the receiver. I don't think it is something wrong with the board because I have two of them that I have tried it on and neither will calibrate the radio. I have tried using APM versions 1.1.35, .34, and .19.

"I am powering the receiver via a power supply". I don't know what that means. You're supposed to power APM and the receiver via an ESC plugged into Out 3.
