I would love recommendations from those who have built some of those and can recommend the best match for me.

I currently have a multiplex minimag, multiplex cularis glider, and multiplex parkmaster 3D.

I'm planning on using the 3DR pixhawk and 900Mhz FPV gear along with a 8/16 channel Taranis

After having played with my minimag which can be made to do FPV but really isn't designed to carry all this crap :), I'm looking for a new platform.

I wouldn't mind a motorglider that can take updrafts and thermals with wings that detach for transport.
Currently, I have a multiplex cularis.
My concern with it is that it feels heavy empty and I barely get 15mn of flying with a well sized lipoa with stuff onboard. Also it's a regular prop, not a pusher prop, and is no way to put a camera on it without exposing it to crashes (or even landings).

Things I'm looking for:
- Pusher (foldable?) prop is obviously the way to go.

- I would quite like the fuselage to allow for a 2 axis camera so that I can look left and right, but also down up maybe close to 90 degrees (looking up, I don't really care, ideally it's just sky :)

- I would consider a flying wing, but it's not my first choice. If somehow it could take off without being launched and land without sliding on its belly, that would be fantastic, but it's not a hard requirement

- Very good glide ratio and similarly good flying times with the extra weight of a bigger capacity pilo, autopilot, FPV gear, and HD camera

Things I've heard about but not considered in details yet are:
- skywalkers X5, 7, 8
- skywalker 1900
- bixler 2
- techpod http://diydrones.com/profiles/blogs/tuning-the-techpod
- other?

What say you?

Thanks,

Marc
