Remember You The Picked Shipper Not Hobby King.

It appears that most everyone is complaining about shipping from Malaysia. Currently I have a $187.00 order in New York. As of today it has been there for 32 days. The order was Invoiced on March 6, departed for NY March 10th. It is being held by US Customs. When they finally decide to release it I can track it via USPS, by clicking on the (continue)  at the bottom of the Malaysia Tracking info. If it keeps coming up can't fine tracking number, go to each category. I have had three orders from Malaysia via PosDaftar. My third order went to US Customs in LA. It's been there for 5 days. My first order ($20), place Mar 3rd, went to NY, it arrive three weeks later. Hobby King Has been good it's just the overseas shipping that sucks. Anything I order from the US Warehouse arrives within three days.

  • You are right. But shipping to Germany was much faster from Singapore or Hong Kong. All my orders arrived within 30 days.

I have one order that I placed in January with many parts on backorder. In March I canceled some parts to get it ready for shipping. That's now over two months ago. I think it's a single case because I already received two orders that I placed afterwards. But still it's frustrating.

  • I have spent LOTS $$$ at Hobby king, using international warehouse (Im in New Zealand)

Every package has arrived, with correct items.

If you use the cheap mail option it can take quite a while. Even 1-2 weeks before the tracking numbers even start tracking. So patience is key.

If you really want to get items quicker, pay the extra $10-15 for fed ex. Tho some options disappear once you add batteries.

So yeah.. Patience or $$$ .....ad IM sure I will e buying more from them.

Note...if you have an iphone, ipod, or ipad etc you can get this app. Its really great for tracking any where, and its free:

    • Paul, I'm not sure where I state that I want my order faster, I would just like to get my order .

Since this was my first international order from Hobby King I didn't realize That I needed to spend extra for shipping. I have ordered four other orders from China and all have arrived in a timely fashion. Since the package that I have yet to receive  was posted a day before Malaysian Air went missing, could it have been on that flight. I keep getting the run-around, first need 49 business days before we can start procedures, then contact your custom to see if they have it, etc. Last scan was sent to NY.

  • I can honestly say that I have numerous orders from HobbyKing's International warehouse and I have never had a problem receiving anything in a timely manor (2-3 weeks).  Infact, I ever received an item from the International warehouse to Newfoundland, Canada in as little as five day; not bad considering I have sometimes waited three weeks to get a package from Toronto to Newfoundland.

  • I ordered from them nearly 2 weeks ago. They SAY my stuff is shipped, but I can't even get a valid tracking number from them. All I get is BS excuses and half-@$$ apologies. I'm with Damian. I can't say that I'll NEVER order from them again because they appear to be the sole distributor for many of the things we use in our UAVs, but I'd rather pay a little more to a better company if in any way possible.

  • I had a

warranty issue with a bad LiPo battery and it was replaced within 7 days, received in four more days. I did not have to send it back. Could have resolved the issue faster if I had sent all requested information straight away. My fault for not reading required warrenty information including pictures.
