Does anyone know how set the APM to return to Home AND then command a servo when at home? in this case, it will be a parachute servo...
This will be truly failsafe for our UAVs since it has parachute recovery system and we have some customers asking for this feature. Will be nice to offer.

Wesley, I think there's a way to make deploy the chute via APM, on a mission. Just like driving a servo for taking pictures.... will try this soon for the parachute and will let you know. Please remind me in about two weeks! :-)
