Is it possible to only use the MinimOSD board (without the APM, etc)? In other words, I want to get rid of the 'No Mav Data!' error messages and just show the voltage from the battery.
In addition, can we step down the power from the 12VDC to the 5V power to power the board.
The reason I wanted to use MinimOSD is the ability to use the percentage of battery power, etc.
There is the super simple osd boards that are out there, but the text sucks on the screen and is not configurable.

Are there any ideas on how to accomplish this? Can the MinimOSD board be used as a stand alone OSD?
