I've used 3DR for my larger frames and have been looking to add another few centimeter to each arm; i've got efficient pancake motors ready to go.
But I cannot find 3/4" x 1/32" thick aluminium box tube (square tube) anywhere. That's about 19mm x 1mm thick metric. All the pre-drilled quad stuff on ebay is smaller diameter, and I've had some 1/16" thick from a metal shop that's well, x2 the weight.
Curious if anyone's every extended a 3DR frame and what they used, or ideally where to find the thinner box tube they use.
