I have an intermediate board connecting the gps and the pixhawk.
Now, I realize that the pixhawk sends 5v out of its i2c port, and that goes into the gps's i2c compass port.
On every diagram I've found, it says that is a 3.3v input.
Can the compass run off of 3.3v in that input as well, sourced from the pixhawk's internal regulator? (sourced from the safety switch 3.3v output) or should I feed 5v in there instead and play a little game with my custom board's pinouts? I can't imagine the compass consumes much power..
