USB and BEC plugged at the same time APM 2.0

Hi everybody!

I need to calibrate the voltage sensor on APM 2.0 . To do so I need to be plugged through the USB but I need to connect the 5V Bec as well to inputs/outputs to see what voltage I get and then substract the 0.3 V it says on the menu.

Is it correct to plug both USB ( it has power ) and BEC both at the same time? If not, how can I get connected through  USB to APM PLanner to do what I want??

Thanks!

  • SO..thats it?? nobody knows the answer for this? it is suppose to be a FUQ, and references in the wiki lead to thing that it is supposed to have both powers connected ( For example, I can't think on any other way to calibrate the Voltage meter if you don't have both the BEC and USB plugged in ) but it is not explicitly written down.

Any help will be aprecciated thanks!!

  • I would like a definitive answer on what power sources can and can not be used at the same time. Without one of the hardware engineers to enlighten us I would stick to "better safe than sorry".

Power your APM2 from the BEC only, measure the voltage, disconnect the BEC, then connect the USB and enter the voltage reading.
