AMP 'heart beat problems,USB not connecting

Hi guys,

I having problems connecting the Mission Planner Mav 1.0  to my APM boards ( I have 3 different types),

COM port is good and BAUD is set to 115200.

The connection flashes the board for a second then times out after 30 secs and the error reads:

APM2 wont arm

My APM2 only powers up through the USB, I normally use the manual method to configure the ESC's via the receiver and all good, but when I plug the ESC back into the correct port on the APM it won't power up.
