Love the diy type drones uav,many useful uses,rescue,search,construction.Thought about a large electric,one seat quad,you sit below the motors in a tube cage,a ballistic chute on top,might make a great low cost flying machine once electrical components become more and more common place.Fly to work,recharge fly home.With some software like the rc versions,it could fly you anywhere hands off.
