  • Why don't the FAA just copy successful drone laws in operation in other countries such as Australia?

Yes the USA is a pretty complex environment however is it so much more complex that it takes this long?  Or are they just waiting until the lobbyists all get their say.

I agree Gary. We have the same issue in Europe where bureaucratic administrations are getting more and more dictatorial in their behaviors and intents toward the citizens. Time to fight again for a government system at the service of citizens and not the other way around.

  • I also tend to think that the FAA is doing itself and it's credibility no good by making factually unsupported claims about it's current "regulations" and supporting law.

They are acting like an irresponsible dictator basically saying do what we want or else and they are simply interpreting their own regulations, advisories and laws as they see fit and without any factual support.

They are certainly capable of producing the legally supported regulations to control this, they just haven't - yet - actually bothered to do so but are demanding that we, the people of the United States behave as though they have.

It is interesting that they who are demanding that we follow their unsupported and illigitimate interpretation of the law see themselves as obviously above the law.

Government is never above the law and if it thinks it is, it is time for a new government.
