Flight Data Analysis - Excel Spreadsheet

I created an Excel spreadsheet to analyze the telemetry data during the flight testing, and have discovered some pretty interesting correlations between altitude and RSSI, throttle settings and cruise speed, cruise speed and mAh/km, etc. This by no means replaces the graphing functionality the Mission Planner has, but its a start into some of the specific analysis I'll need to capture as I prepare for the USA trip.

  • Not to beat a dead horse, have you had a chance to make the excel sheet public yet? I would love to have it!!

  • Hi Trent, Always like your post as they are things I always wanted to ask, etc.

    Keep us the great posts!

PS - what happened to Nick?

One thing that isn't easy for a lot of people is accurate tuning, as it's often difficult to correlate what one sees in the behaviour of the aircraft and the changes made via the mission planner. Otherwise just the functionality that you have at the moment looks great.

  • I hadn't considered making it usable by others... not a bad idea! Let me sharpen it up a little and I'll share it! Any functionality you'd like to see?

  • Indeed! Would you also make this spread sheet public? I think it could benefit a lot of people.

Hi Trent, could we put our logs into your spreadsheet and get results? Also, any chance of making your spreadsheet public?
