AVC (Active Vehicle Control) is a very interesting new product from Spektrum: a RC car controller that adds driver-assist intelligence, including heading hold and throttle assist. The interactive website demo is fantastic, and shows what it can do far better than I can describe here. We already do some of this in the ArduRover code, but this seems like a good opportunity to follow this example and incorporate these sort of features and more (such as automatic drift mode) in the next release.
It costs $250 and is only recommended for the Horizon Hobby Vaterra Hälix and Losi Rally-X cars for now.
