OpenSCAD file showing my OctoCopter. Parametric design so you can change it into a Tri/Quad/Hex/Y. Design based on the AGL Hobbies carbon fiber frame. I created it so that I could try different boom lengths and prop sizes.

Is there any reason why the boom/arms need to be the same length? If every second arm was shorter, could you increase the prop size for a given footprint?

Season Two of the Trust Time Trial (T3) Contest has now begun. The fourth round is an accuracy round for multicopters, which requires contestants to fly a cube. The deadline is April 14th.
