  • Is this version officially  compatible with 3DR Iris+? I made a couple of test flights including circle, waypoints and follow me and other than gimbal control seemed to be ok.

  • @ Fredia Huya-Kouadio thank you for the awnser

I have tried it and its awesome !!!

  • Can anyone explain to me how to setup the offline maps?

I thought I had it setup properly, but I guess not.

It says it's saving maps, but it doesn't give me satellite maps.

    Any help is much appreciated.

  • @dimitris yes, the default altitude preference will affect the takeoff altitude when you take off using Tower.

  • @Dusan, work to support these is currently ongoing. No firm date on when it'll be publicly available though.

  • @Cala, this release includes a lot of fixes for the issues discovered during the beta, so it's worth to upgrade. I have also updated the beta testing process, so now it's possible to have the beta and stable versions of Tower installed side by side on the same device.

To take advantage of this, follow the instructions @ https://play.google.com/apps/testing/org.droidplanner.android.beta

  • @Paul unfortunately no.

That capability requires changes to be made to the Solo firmware.

  • Gopro control (requires compatible gopro connected to a 3DR Solo gimbal)

That wouldn't happen to include triggering the GoPro in a survey pattern with a camera trigger waypoint?
