setup disassembly check

This is actually 3rd time after two manual mode unsuccessfull maidens due to prop fails on this setup.

The basekit is x-uav

it has v-tail mixes allover,

so it moves two channels mixing them.

Now I begin to see too many possible failure points,

to eliminate them all entire being is barely enough)

The motor is one third too low kV,

Booting up 9X makes 3 secs of aileron limit hit pwm.

(however after recollecting link from control Tx does not affect)

Video – 1,2 GHz, cloverleafes

mobius actioncam and switching bottom ccd cam.

Interesting small dome, the GPS that close to the ESC might not be a good idea. I love my Talon. Nothing wrong with the motor BTW. Are the plug in tails another change?

What do you mean by "prop fails" ?

I have the same Talon, it flies very well.

I'm using a 3548 900KV motor, 12X6 prop, 12000mAh 3S pack.

If you use APM, DO NOT use external vtail mixer, APM does it for you.

Search these forums/posts, all the info is there.

Start with basic airframe, APM, telemetry.

Get it to fly properly.

Do a few simple missions, then start to add all the extras.

If not, you will have problems with ANY airframe.........

O, you really need to glue the rudders/elevators in......

are you using 2x 5000/4s turnigy bat ?

Hi Eduardo,

I'm using three 4000 mAh 3S packs in parallel. That gives me 12000 mA/h

With my setup, it can do about 90 Km/h straight and level, but I get best performance at 60 Km/h

And I get just over 1 hour flight...

How much over the hour Gustav and whats your take off elevation? Oh and what you said about adding all the stuff before a maiden flight was right as well.

Hi Gary,

Yes, I believe in "baby steps" !!!

Well, I have 12000 mA/h onboard, and at 60 Km/h Talon draws just over 9 Amp, confirmed with test equipment....

All my flights have so far been done at 210 m ASL.

Presently I fly with a GoPro in the dome, heavier equipment will eat into the flight time :-(

do you know how much long you can fly with your 12000 pack ?

I have a talon too. I made only on flight to config the pids of mine autopilot. i will fly with 10000/4s or 15000/4s and carry one modified samsung nx300.

I like you tail modification.

He said he gets just over an hour per 12000 3sp3 pack

Prop failure sounds really strange, you mean your prop breaks? how many rpm do you get with your motor setup? what type of prop are you using?
