Just thought I'd let you know that work on the iOS 7 version of my popular drone companion app, Windsock is has been completed and is available in the App Store now. Thanks again to everyone who helped with feedback.
In short it lets you see what the wind and other weather is doing at multiple sites hour by hour for 7 days in advance so you can help decide when to go down to your favourite flying site after work. I don't know about you but I have a couple of places I fly at and it depends on the wind direction and speed as to which equipment I take.
The 2.0 update adds a whole backpack of new features like wind graphs, checkmark ticks on good flying condition, temperature warnings, rain warnings, map view, local sites, air printing and air dropping of sites and something I've been using a lot lately, particularly as it gets dark early are the sunrise and sunset times. It also has a feature where if you've got your hands full just shake the phone and it will read out how much daylight you've got left at that particular location you're in right now.

Thanks for the praise Steven. Yeah it gets it's data from Forecast.io which is a paid high-resolution weather service but I absorb that into the price of the app so it's just a one off cost in the App Store. It's really an app I wanted as an amateur UAV flyer. I did wrestle with the price point but after I while I realised I've spent more on a couple of servo cables! I hope everyone enjoys it. I plan to make some more UAV companion apps if this version is popular :-)
