Hi guys,I'm an MBA student doing a innovations project on DIY Drones. The question is, being an entrepreneur, what are the possible commercial applications of these Drones/UAV's?A replacement for fire control helicopters / search and rescue? replacement for delivery company vehicles such as DHL?Any comments would be much appreciated!Thanks a lot!!

Any UAV that falls under the FAA's authorization is more expensive than the equivalent manned solution. In that sense, there's no economic benefit. If enough people build them & the component cost decreases, the economics could reverse.

Basically anything that requires "cheap access to the sky" and is "dull, dirty or dangerous", to use the two main slogans of UAVs.
